given that the education of Syrian refugee is currently the subject of intense debates, I skimmed through the internet and found an older UNESCO document on this topic (see here http://www.ibe.unesco.org/fileadmin/user_upload/Publications/WDE/2010/pdf-versions/Syrian_Arab_Republic.pdf). Page 12 is a bit confusing. Obviously not "National Socialism" as commonly understood in Austria or Germany but Syrian Socialism, but when reading "National socialist education", I was nevertheless a bit baffled at first.
